Join us sundays at 9:00am & Wednesdays at 6:30pm

As followers of Jesus we understand that God has entrusted us to be good stewards of His resources. One of the resources He has entrusted into our care is money. How we spend our money is a reflection of what we value, and giving away our money is a safeguard for our souls not to trust the lies that tell us money will satisfy and secure.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says,

"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."

Giving financially to the local church is to be an act of worship where we give cheerfully, thankfully, and generously in response to what Jesus has given for us. At First Baptist Icard, we do not want anyone to give who does so only because they feel guilty or because they are trying to gain God’s favor. We want your giving to be a thankful response to what God has provided in Christ and evidence of your commitment to His Kingdom.

Most of our members give as part of their worship during our main gatherings on Sunday mornings. If you would like to give through another means, please contact church@fbicard.org or call the church office at 828.397.3451
